Alfa is gutted. Anyone know what is happening with this space next?

The Enoterrace, the rooftop at wine bar Enoterra, will have Champagne Deutz tonight (Friday) at rmb500 per bottle or rmb888 for two. Get a free glass of bubbly if you are there from 9 PM to 10 PM and use the secret password “EnoTERRACE Open Air”.

The Conscious Food Market, held Saturdays at In & Out, has new extended hours : 11 AM to 4:30 PM. It also has new vendors this week, including Exotic Coffee. From the most recent press release:

This week’s market will showcase Chuncao organically grown but not certified free range eggs, wonderful organic vegetables from one of the oldest organic farms in Beijing, fresh bread, freshly made muesli, locally made French jams and Indian chutneys and pestos, warm cinnamon honey cake, Yunnan Red mountain fragrant rice, rice wine and low sulfite Bordeaux wines, Beijing made cold processed soaps, natural lotion bars, FDA approved organic blueberry juice from Xinjiang, Tibetan yak cheese, freshly brewed French coffee and coffee beans, canned wild mushroom from Yunnan, honey from Qinghai, certified organic whole grains, flax seed oil and fruit vinegars, fresh weekly-made organic non-GMO bean tofu, Tibetan yak yoghurt, the most cosmically organic strawberries in Beijing!

Capital Spirits aims to have its new venue open in early June. This one will have a spirits focus sans baijiu. It will also be relatively close, on Xinsi Hutong, with plans to offer free rickshaw rides all summer between the two bars on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Napa takeaway shop on Chunxiu Road, just north of Workers Stadium and Workers Gymnasium, will close until June 25 as the team prepares to open its restaurant in the Palm Springs / Central Park area in early July. You can expect an expanded menu at the new place, with everything from organic salads to frozen yogurt.
