Paddy O’Shea’s marks its eighth birthday tonight

Paddy O’Shea’s will tonight mark eight years in business, an eternity by Beijing standards, and particularly impressive in this case as one might easily argue this bar is more popular than ever. From having a dozen screens that show different games to sponsoring a half-dozen sports teams to hosting live music and quizzes to attracting one of the most diverse crowds in the scene, Paddy’s — now managed by Paul R — continues to be a regular stop for many.

Tonight’s party includes a 100-kuai free-flow Heineken deal until midnight along with plenty of music and prizes for the best outfit — the dress code is green. Plus shenanigans. You can also expect shenanigans at Paddy’s.
