TRIO: A three-level venue that included upscale Park Grill upstairs, the reincarnation of pioneering bar Frank’s Place on the main floor and the wine club The Cellar in the basement. The investors included numerous “old China hands” with high hopes. Park Grill eventually became SALT, the basement closed and went through numerous themes, and Frank’s carried on, was eventually purchased by a team that included John Harkness (Goose & Duck) and closed in 2015.
