Pop-Up Beijing will soon be popping corks as it goes from a venue that not only offers home furnishings but also a place to grab a few drinks. (And one that offers nice sofas on which to pass out.)
Pop-Up is in Sanlitun South between The Local and Jing-A / Okra, on the first floor of that building that once housed a massive KTV. The bar will be in the lower-level space on the east side of this long and narrow venue (see the photo at top-right in the collage).
Pop-Up has already held several events, including one with upward of one hundred people, and the bar should be open for regular business within the next week or so. If you soon see people stumbling around Sanlitun South late at night with a chandelier or an antique writing stand, you’ll never where they got it.
