Q Bar has introduced a daily buy one, get one free cocktail deal from 5 PM to 8 PM and also has some new pub grub in the, ahem, queue. Perched atop the Eastern Inn in Sanlitun South, Q reopened last year after a long hiatus when original partner George Zhou returned to the scene. The venue has the same layout, including one of the city’s better rooftops, and an upgraded sound and video system. It also offers good value, with most cocktails in the rmb45 to rmb60 range, including martinis at rmb50. Look for burgers and hot dogs, and possibly other items, to soon be available–hopefully there are also a few summer barbecues planned on that excellent rooftop.
