If one of your New Year resolutions is to keep your mind sharp via crosswords, trivia, word games and the like, then People’s Daily is there for you. If another is to pig out courtesy of some of the city’s food deals, I’ve got your back, too.
First, the brain teaser. People’s Daily posted the following word puzzle on its Twitter account and suggested “the first three words you see that might define your 2017”. Hmm, I got “shit” once and “fuck” twice”. That kind of sounds like what I was saying for much of 2016 so it looks like a repeat might be in the works. Anyway, you can try it for yourself. It should make for an excellent after-work activity while you enjoy one of the Monday night deals below.
