First, LM Plus is turning eight in Central Park. (This is one of many Beijing food projects involving owner Massimo Masili, starting with the former L’Isola and its superb lunches.) Free-flow pizza, salad, wine and more for just 元100 from 12:30 PM to 4 PM.
Later that day, XL will celebrate its fourth birthday. Owner Jane Cui is hosting an all-you-can-eat-and-drink party for 元200 from 8 PM to midnight. If you haven’t tried the new food menu, this is a good chance to do so. Or just grab some delicious burgers.
In the gap between those two parties, you can slip to Arrow Factory for its Saturday beer deal. This week features buy one, get one free Man with the Golden Gun, a 5.2-percent country ale that Justin Culkin says is light-bodied with mild honey and biscuit flavors. Sounds good. And I’m hoping that delicious Two Birds Lager is in the queue.
