By Jim Boyce | Frost is one cool customer when it comes to the restaurant and bar business. When Xingfucun Middle Road saw a rash of business close two months ago, and Frost itself end up roofless, the team remained undaunted and vowed to reopen. Sure enough, this place has gone through some renovations and is back in business.
Chef Jeff Powell has put together a tight menu for the soft opening—you can see a page of it below. There are five “bowls”, including one with sesame-crusted ahi tuna, at rmb29 each and a trio of rolls at rmb30 each. The Frost Burger, Aussie sliders or Salmon BLT is rmb49 each. And there are snacks like spicy soybeans or wasabi octopus, at rmb29, to pair with your beer.
The operating hours are 9 AM to 2 AM, giving you plenty of options for chilling out.
