A jazz joint called The Bricks is set to open next month on Xindong Road. Describing itself as a “New York style live jazz bar’, and with a design that evokes the Big Apple’s architecture and music scenes, the nearly 200-square-meter venue will include a bar, a lounge area and private rooms. The entrance will be on the B1 level of Shoukai Bojun, a sprawling complex that sits across from the Bentley dealership and includes Buona Bocca, Everwines, Lily’s American Diner and XL Restaurant & Bar. The Bricks will open daily from 7 M to 2 AM and, says the manager, include an extensive wine list. I’ll update when I get more details on the venue and opening date.
