By Jim Boyce | One of Beijing’s unsung burger heroes is XL Restaurant & Bar, a place I have written about on many occasions and eaten at even more. XL delivers time and again with fresh quality ingredients and efficient service. They are so good that I overindulged on my last visit by having a trio of tasty bacon cheeseburgers.
Anyway, if you seek value, tonight is the night as burgers are half-price every Tuesday from 4 PM. From the chili to the blue cheese to fully loaded ‘all-star’, you’ll be hard-pressed to find more patty power in our fair city. You can piggyback that on the happy hours that run until 9 PM.
XL is off Xindong Road. It’s in the passage behind the building directly north of Heaven Supermarket.
