I got back to Beijing from a long holiday just in time for the launch of Nao Bistro and the coronavirus crisis. ‘You take the good, you take the bad,’ as TV show The Facts of Life reminded on a weekly basis.
So, I started a page here with news updates, memes, personal anecdotes and safety tips about the crisis. All tied together with Chinese New Year-inspired “women yelling at a cat” memes. And George Clooney. Plus, a rat washing its hands with soap. And a story that blames snakes for the virus. Plus my unscientific mask survey with 183 Beijingers.
