I tend to catch bands in Beijing when, one, I know at least one of the performers, and, two, they are at a place I like. Both conditions will be met Friday when The Beijing Beatles play at Q Bar, one of their last shows before summer holidays. If you haven’t seen this group, the Fab Four put on quite a show, from the music to their outfits. If you have seen them, you know what to expect.
Q Bar will also have Beatles-themed drinks available, including John Lemon and Apple McCartney shots as well as a punch called Beatles Juice. (Blame me for those awful names.) The Beijing Beatles are slated to start at 10 PM. If you want to pre-game on the rooftop, or at the bar, happy hour is from 5 PM to 8 PM, with buy one, get one cocktails.
