By Jim Boyce | The Wednesday night wing deal at The Local—three-kuai each with drink purchase and minimum ten-wing owner—is one of the best deals in Sanlitun South. Now this comfort food haven will take things up a notch on June 28 with a wing eating contest.
The birthday celebrations will include a free keg of Firestone Easy Jack IPA at 7 PM, with the wing nuts getting down to competitive eating at 8 PM. The winner gets a fixed-gear bike, a T-shirt and more. If you want to join the wing contest, contact Kenn via weixin at localKenn.
Happy hours are 2 PM to 8 PM. Also of note, The Local has new weekday lunch deals, including rmb45 pasta sets, rmb65 Chorizo burgers sets and rmb200 pizza sets (feeds three to four people).
