All quiet on the Eastern front | Mid-Autumn festival in Beijing

It’s been a quiet mid-Autumn festival in our neighborhood so far as other parts of the city rev up for the PRC’s 70th birthday on October 1. And by rev, think tanks practicing their approaches and timing. They’ll be going through Gongti-Sanlitun, too, as evidenced by the removal of the heavy metal street dividers.

Thus, it was low volumes of people and noise today, including during a stroll through Sanlitun SOHO. Here are a dozens photos I took.
